I have been involved with designing, organizing and conducting a variety of training seminars to different group of audience for over a decade. My subjects include different areas connected with Personal Effectiveness for individuals and organizations.
I started my career with the Windsor Manor Sheraton in Bangalore (now a part of the Luxury Collection of the ITC Welcomgroup).
Later on moved and was selected to join the Oberoi School Of Hotel Management to learn the nuances of Customer Care, Housekeeping, Personal grooming, Customer Interaction, Customer Handling, Grievance handling, Effective Supervision, Eye for Detail and Management Techniques.
I was posted to The Oberoi Grand Calcutta and later moved on to Trident Chennai. After a brief sabbatical from active hotel operations to take care of the family started teaching in a hotel school at Hyderabad. Handled the 3-years course and taught a variety of subjects including Food and Beverage Service, Communication skills, Marketing and Sales, Organizational Behavior and HR Management.
Moved out in the year 2003 and started free lancing as a Trainer and was associated with the Diana Hotels in Hyderabad and Club Mahindra.
In 2004 joined the prestigious Taj Group of Hotels in Hyderabad and in a span of 3 years handled a number of hotels for them and also the Management Training Programme at Delhi.
I have in the past few years kept on increasing the repertoire of my training programmes while improvising the delivery style to suit the audience.
Some of the programmes which I now excel at include Managing Change, Creative Leadership for Supervisors, Total Quality Management, The Brand in YOU, Team building at grass root level, Presentation skills. I can use all training tools including multimedia, games and my style over a period of time is ‘Innovative and Interactive’.
Have used tools for Training Needs Analysis and Training Effectiveness Evaluation as a follow up system, where in each and every comment and evaluation is systematically followed to achieve cent percent results and more importantly long lasting and repeatable results. Have devised my own modules in all operational areas and also created a Competency Based Training Matrix to aid in training of staff across all levels in the hotel.
